My Story
Hello there, my name is Dixie Chick! I am told that the vet thinks I’m a cattle dog/shepherd mix. I was born on May 3, 2024, alongside my wonderful litter mates. We’re all ready to find our forever homes!
I am a very happy and playful pup that loves to explore everything! My foster mom says that I was really timid and shy around humans in the beginning, but I have really blossomed in to a social butterfly. I love to be held and just melt in to your arms, but I am also the independent pup of our pack. Our foster mom here takes really good care of us giving lots of fun stuffies and toys to play with. I absolutely love toys. I think they have to be the best thing ever, except for food and treats of course.
I’ve met lots of friends, family, and neighbors, including kids ages 3 and 6. I did great with them, but remember, I’m still a teething puppy and will need to be taught not to play hard and use those puppy teeth. If you have kids in the home, my foster mom thinks it would be best if there were no little ones such as babies or toddlers while I’m learning.
Remember, puppies take a lot of time and work to become great adult dogs and to be house trained. Please keep this in mind before applying for me. I would do best in a home that is active and home a lot of the time so I have the opportunity to learn and be a silly puppy.
Well, now that you know a little bit about me, do you think I would make a great addition to your family? I would love to add charm, fun , and love to your life. I promise to fill your home with laughter, love, and a few puppy antics!
