Meet Dixie Chick!
This little girl is a small 25 lb Collie mix.
Dixie is the cutest fluffy girl!
She is very friendly and sweet!
We think she is about 1.5 years old.
Sadly, Dixie's story began when she was rescued from a cruelty situation and ended up in a high kill shelter. We didnt want Dixie to die so she ended up here at the rescue, but she is an energetic baby who deserves a bigger yard to play in! We can see her being a little farm dog, but we really need a foster home to see her thrive.
Dixie gets along great with other dogs. She was shy and shut down at the shelter but the second she got her freedom she came right out of her shell and has been a happy go lucky girl. She does need some leash training, so she needs a fenced in yard to keep her safe. She's still settling in to the rescue, so we are still getting to know her personality. So far we see a very playful puppy. She does need some house training and work on confidence on leash.
