Hi! My name is Dixie, or as my foster mom calls me "The Best Dog Ever"! I am a mini-Aussie mix, between 5-6 years old, and 35 pounds of sweetness! I get along with small dogs, big dogs, cats, LOVE kids, and have been friendly with every human I've ever met. I am extremely well-mannered, kennel trained, walk perfectly on a leash, and have not had even one accident in the house since coming to stay at my foster home. I've very calm-natured and obedient and love human attention, belly scratches and head rubs more than anything. I hardly ever bark but instead prefer to bat my beautiful eyes whenever I want something. I enjoy having another dog friend to keep me company but don't have to play with them all the time. My favorite thing to do is just to be with my human. I am completely healthy and ready to find a home perfect just for me. Actually, now that I think about it - I guess I am "The Best Dog Ever"! The $125.00 adoption fee helps cover the cost of care including spay/neuter, first set of vaccinations, microchip, and worming. All adult dogs are heartworm tested and are heartworm negative unless otherwise stated.
