Dixie is a wonderful, delightful dog. She loves to give kisses and enjoys racing around the house playing with her toys. She is apparently a purebred Portugese Podengo Pequeno wire coat She definitely looks like one! They were bred for hunting small game. I think little Dixie needs an active home. She has a lot of love to give. Dixie has been reliable and friendly with my children and my family. She is now a house dog and loving every minute of it and we love her right back. She is quite comical the way she throws her toys around and chases them. She is crate trained. If you are active and love the robust and playful antics of this breed then Dixie might be for you. Her adoption fee will be $375 which will cover full vet check, shots, heartworm, dewormer and spay.
