Hello Everyone! My name is Dixie, I'm about 9 months old, and the best guess that the shelter staff has about my breed is that I'm a hound mix. Right now, as a young pup, I weigh about 35lbs. I have already been fixed, microchipped, heartworm tested and vaccinated. I'm ready to go! Since I am young, I need some work on my manners, potty training, and learning all the important things! The shelter staff says I do well with other dogs in play groups, and a lot of times, I just keep to myself, using my nose to smell all the things high and low. I would probably benefit from a fenced in backyard, or a busy exercise schedule with my human. Hiking, running, long walks, etc. I have a sweet, outgoing, loving, and very puppy personality.
