My Story

Introducing Dino, a four-year-old male Pug who is looking for his forever home. Dino is a well-socialized and loving dog, ready to bring joy and companionship to a lucky family. His foster mom calls him Mr. Goofball. He has personality plus! Dino will jump in the shower with you, will play nicely with all other dogs, and would love some children to play with. Dino is always on some adventure nosing around an open cupboard or sniffing around the yard. He loves when company comes over because they always pay attention to him. He loves laying on his foster moms lap. Mom says he is a "dream dog" when it comes to sleeping. As soon as the light is out, Dino finds his spot on the bed and sleeps as long as mom wants to sleep. He never wake her up early. Personality & Traits Name: Dino Age: 4 years Breed: Pug Energy Level: Playful and social Personality: Friendly, loving, and great with kids Health & Care Vaccinations: Up-to-date Spay/Neuter: Neutered Microchipped: Yes Special Needs: Chronic dry eye, requires regular eye drops, missing one eye Dino's Journey: Dino is a wonderful four-year-old Pug with a big heart and a loving personality. He has a history of living harmoniously with children aged 1, 3, 6, and 12, making him an ideal companion for families. Dino is social and playful with other dogs and is all around just a great, well-socialized dog. Dino is mostly potty trained but had occasional accidents in his previous home. He was just neutered a couple weeks ago, and still has the habit of marking, but has started to lose that habit and marking less. His foster mom puts a belly band on him for those times and he stops marking. With a bit of patience and consistency, he can perfect his house training in no time. Dino uses the doggy door like a champ! Currently, Dino is dealing with chronic dry eye, which requires regular eye drops. Because he has dry eye, Dino will need medicine every day, but he sits really still for his foster mom to put it in his eye. Important Things to Know About Pugs with Chronic Dry Eye Pugs with chronic dry eye, like Dino, need special attention to their eye health: Regular Medication: Consistent application of prescribed eye drops is crucial to keep their eyes moist and prevent further complications. Gentle Handling: Pugs can be sensitive to restraint, especially around their eyes. It's important to be gentle and patient when administering eye drops. Regular Vet Check-ups: Regular visits to the vet are necessary to monitor the condition and adjust treatment as needed. Comfort and Security: Creating a calm and secure environment can help reduce stress, making it easier to manage their eye care routine. Dino's Ideal Home Dino would thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of love and attention. His playful nature makes him great with children and other dogs. An understanding and patient family that can help him with his eye care routine will be perfect for him. Dino needs a calm and secure environment to feel safe and comfortable. Ready to Meet Dino?
