Diesel - adoption

Diesel is a 1 year old male Alaskan Malamute. He has been a frequent visitor to our shelter; he was picked up 3 times running at large. His owners decided they did not want him back as they did not have enough room for him so he is now available for adoption. Diesel is a very friendly dog who is excellently socialized with children from toddlers to teenagers. He has previously lived with cats and does well. He gets along great with other dogs and loves to hang out with his best friend Rufus. At his previous home he was an outdoor dog and spent all of his time outside. Diesel an opportunistic escape artist. If he has the opportunity to leave his yard, he will bolt, so he needs a large, secure, fenced in yard to spend his time. He is good both in and outdoors. Diesel is already neutered, vaccinated and microchipped so he is ready to go to his forever home right away! Our dog adoption fee is $150 which includes spay/neuter, shot, rabies shot and microchip. Puppies that are not old enough to be spayed or neutered prior to adoption will require a $300 refundable (upon proof of surgery being presented to MLDHS) spay/neuter deposit.
