Meet Diesel a 5 year old German Shorthair Pointer Mix. Diesel came to us as an owner surrender, he is a sweet boy who loves attention from our staff and volunteers. Diesel keeps his kennel very clean and waits until he is taken out to go potty. He loves to play fetch with a frisbee, he also loves butt scratches! We always recommend testing all our dogs with any other potential family members prior to adoption to ensure the best outcome for all! The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known.
