Mr. Diego was sadly surrendered to us along with his mother, who is only about six months older than him. He is quite new to us, so we are still getting to know him and his personality. Surrendering pets undergo a significant adjustment as they try to acclimate to their new environment in the shelter. What became immediately apparent is that this boy is incredibly sweet and gentle. We are very hopeful that Diego will not be with us for long and that he will soon find love, security, and comfort in his forever home.
