Hi, I'm going to be at Petsmart this weekend! Why don't you come out and say hello to me? I'll be there Saturday Feb 13th from 9 until noon and then again Sunday Feb 14th from noon until 3 pm. I'm a really great guy!

Hi, I'm Dexter, I'm a 2 year old boxer boy with tons of personality. As you can tell by my portrait, my best friend is a stuffed duck. I love to play, whether its stuffed toys, balls ,bones, other dogs, and of course people. I'm learning to keep my play within tolerable energy levels as I can get a little goofy. I'm looking for a new friend or family that can keep my energy level drained so I can keep myself calm. I've also found that the "Nothing in life is free" lifestyle suits me fine. I've been told I'm a little too energetic for younger kids, and prefer adults or older calmer teenagers, I guess I'm trying to mellow out by example. I'm housetrained, crate trained, neutered, know basic commands and am learning not to pull on leash. If you think I sound like the fun guy you've been looking for, or would like to have a four legged friend take you out to agility or flyball, send me an e mail.

Definitions:

Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)

On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home for up to 2 weeks before the adopters need to commit to keeping the dog. We want to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! We allow this option for everyone except very long distance adoptions (too far to drive).

Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we have the final word. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!
