Hi everyone meet Dexter! We have been fostering him over the past few months and he is now ready to find his forever home. Dexter is around 2 years old and weighs 40lbs. He is a shy guy but when he warms up to you he could play for hours. He does well with other dogs (big & small) and has only showed sweetness since we brought him home. He enjoys running around with my nephew for hours on end and would do extremely well in a home with children. He is housebroken & we are working on crate training.
I think Dexter would do well in a home where he isn’t alone for long periods of time home alone. He gets some anxiety if he is left alone for long periods of time. He does good on leash but tends to get skiddish when he hears noises so we are working on building his confidence on walks. He is also working on basic commands. He is a cuddler and the sweetest baby ever.
