My Story

Donate Dober Duds Devon is a handsome red gentleman found stray wandering around a trucking site. At that time, he was very emaciated and worn-looking. All that has changed since he's been with IDR+ in a foster home. He has gained all his weight back on good food, his coat is shiny and he is bouncing around like a spring chicken. When he first arrived, he was thought to be 9 years old, but he certainly behaves like a younger dog. Devon loves people and rears up on his hind legs in happiness to see them. Perhaps he thinks he is a horse! He adores being petted, but if nobody is in the mood to pet him, he will wait patiently on his bed for attention. He loves to follow his people around the house. He also LOVES to eat (I can relate) and no crumb goes to waste. A quieter home would be best for Devon as some noises make him a little nervous. He has done wonderfully with my dogs, both big and small. Cats are unknown. He completely respects a baby gate so a crate is not necessary. If you are looking for an easy boy whose devotion will make you feel like king or queen of the world, Devon is your man. Call Elaine at 847-940-0499 or e-mail [email protected] for more information.
