With bright eager eyes and a heart full of love, little Desmond and his sister Elanor were some of the lucky ones and made it off the streets and into our program. Somewhat leery of people at first, it is evident he has been faced with challenges no young soul should ever have to endure, but he's risen above it all and has become a gentle, loving boy with a long future ahead of him. While he learns the proverbial ropes of dogdom from his playmates here at the shelter, and some basics (such as leash walking) from our staff, we eagerly await the family that will whisk him off to his wonderful forever home!
