Derek is a handsome black and white sugar cookie with a reputation for being a total lovebug. He is in need of a hip surgery (which PACC will take care of) and a home that can provide him with a place to recover and a bit of simple physical therapy after his surgery. Derek has all the love in the world to offer in return!! Heres what his volunteer friends have said about him: Derek is a super sweet guy who is easy to leash and walks really well on leash. Derek was a delight to walk today. Easy to leash, polite leash manners, likes to sniff, takes treats gently, mellow and easy going, friendly and affectionate. A wonderful very good boy! Another volunteer and I introduced Derek to a new friend today and he was so fun to watch. He was very excited to have a new buddy and wanted to play so badly- she was a bit shy, and Derek respected her space. But, he made sure to stay close, play bowing and wagging his tail in case she decided she wanted to play, with a big friendly smile on his face. It was so cute. Derek is a great dog! Derek would like to meet any resident pets before heading home to make sure its a good fit and is a ladies man who may do best with female friends. Ask to meet Derek today!!
