Who is looking for a good first dog? Maybe even first bully breed? Derby (formerly known as Brown Sugar) is about a year old and very much still a puppy! He is young, energetic, and craves companionship. Derby is dog-friendly and cat-tested well at the vet clinic where he was neutered (couldnt care less about the cat). Much like any young dog who ends up spending a couple months in a shelter, he could use some work on his manners, but fortunately, we have affordable resources for that! We could see him being a good jogging buddy. Also, he rides in the car quietly and doesn't get carsick, in our experience. Derby won't fight you on going in his crate and dozes peacefully. We've actually never heard him bark!
