DENALI- Needs a foster/forever home!

Denali is a Pointer/Heeler mix who we rescued along with his mom Lainey and siblings Bodhi (adopted), Dax, Abbie (adopted) and Bosco prior to them being euthanized at a high kill shelter. His estimated birthdate is 7/13/2022 and he weighs approx 51#. Denali is timid and skittish and takes time to warm up to new people. It appears he did not have much socialization when he was younger and has made a lot of progress thanks to the patience of foster. Denali needs an adopter who is patient and willing to spend a lot of one and one time with him. Good with other dogs and cats. Children 10 years old or older. His forever home is required to have a totally enclosed physically fenced yard where he can run, play and hang out with his people. Denali is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations as well as house and crate trained. Denali is dreaming for a family with patience and love who will show him how great it is being a part of a family . . . is that with you?? All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. No out of state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Denali's adoption fee is $300. DENALI WOULD LOVE TO BE IN A FOSTER HOME WHILE HE IS WAITING TO BE ADOPTED.
