Hi there! I’m Demi, a three-year-old, 65-pound female yellow lab mix, and I'm on the lookout for my forever home. I was rescued just in the nick of time and now I’m staying at a foster home in Battle Creek, Michigan. I've been through a lot of changes lately, so I was a bit shy at first, but I’m starting to feel more comfortable and my gentle, loving nature is coming out. Let me tell you a bit about myself! I’m really good on a leash and I’m learning new commands every day. Car rides are one of my favorite things, and I always behave politely—I don’t chew on things I shouldn’t. I love playing tag, and I’m fully housebroken and crate-trained, though I don’t need to be crated. I was a little scared of the cats at first, but I’m getting used to them now. I dream of a home with a fully FENCED-IN YARD where I can run and play freely. I’d love to have a playful, confident dog buddy to help me build my confidence and show me the ropes.
