Della is a happy Westie-mix who is eagerly awaiting her forever home! If you're an experienced dog guardian looking to open your heart and home to a loving companion, please get in touch. Della is a trusting and protective soul is now looking her best for her upcoming meet and greets. She LOVES toys, especially playing fetch. She enjoys (and needs) long walks. Della is house trained and leash trained. She sleeps in her bed, inside the crate, with the door open. She is a smart girl who has learned sit and stay. Della is fiercely protective of her human and very affectionate and playful (once she knows you). She requires slow introductions to new people (and pups), but once she’s met them she remembers. Once she knows you, she’s super friendly. Della should be an only dog in her home. She needs an experienced owner who can properly introduce her to new people and pups. She wants so much to have her human that she reacts to another dog or person coming near her. She needs an owner very committed to helping her work thru this behavior. Her adoption will include 30 days of training, with a professional trainer, who will come to her home for an initial assessment and plan. Della is in Los Angeles CA. She's aged to be ~8 years, ~19 lbs, and does not shed. We are not sure but think she is a Westie mix. Ella is healthy, spayed, current on her vaccines and ready for a fresh start with her forever family.
