Meet Deca! Deca came to us from the San Diego Humane Society on June 14. She is a youthful 8 years old and weighs 10 lbs. Deca is a social butterfly and the perfect blend of fun energy and mellow vibes, making her a great fit for various households. If you're looking for a lovable companion who will be equally happy to go on outings or relax at home, Deca might be your perfect match! Deca went on two-week Frosted Fling and has been such a great houseguest that her stay has extended to a month! As a result, we have learned a lot about what she is like in a home. Fun Facts about Deca: * Get along with big dogs, small dogs, and cats! * Loves belly rubs and will plop down with her belly up and wait. And wait! * Favorite snacks include chicken, eggs, dried liver, pup cups and nectarines. * Is a great work-from-home buddy, content to nap or keep you company quietly. * Enjoys hanging out on the couch next to her people. * Responds to her name. * Loves meeting new people, including kids. Mealtime: Deca loves to eat and might try to sneak a bite from other dogs' bowls. In her Fling, she is fed separately to avoid any food sharing adventures! Exercise: Deca enjoys brisk walks around the neighborhood and exploring the yard. She's a fast walker who enjoys a good 15-minute stroll up and down hills. Deca is spry, showing no issues jumping up and down from furniture. She usually sleeps on her own doggie bed at night but has slept in bed with her Fling Mom a few times.
