Debo

Looking for a hunka hunk of love muffin?!?! To meet Debo is to love him (not that he gives you a choice as you're getting affection from that big chocolate colored mug whether you want it or not!)

An American Bulldog mix (1 - 2 years old) who's 75 lbs of muscle and kisses, he's house and crate trained, with an eager to please nature. Great with people of all shapes and sizes, and particularly adores children. Debo has an irrestible "stumpy" tail (like a Boxer) He's tattooed, microchipped and up to date on all of his shots.

Debo walks nicely on a leash, once he gets his initial beans out, and knows several commands. He is a total couch potato around the house, but really loves to have a lot of exercise outside too. Leia, his Lab-Boxer playmate that he used to live with, definitely runs the show in their wrestle matches. In his foster home now, he also gets along well with 3 male dogs, a Mastiff and 2 Pit Bulls. Debo can be reactive once in a while outside to other strange, large male dogs, but does fine with good leadership in those instances. He would be perfectly suitable as a second dog with the right combination, as he loves to wrestle and goof around.

We call Debo that "happy wanderer", but it's been bittersweet. He was originally found in Alberta, placed in a home in BC that gave him up again within that year due to lack of time, so now he's back residing with his original foster mom until a permanent home can be found. He has always been well cared for during the whole time, but Debo would like to have one place forever and ever to call his home. He wants to just be a dog - love his people, run around and play and try to fit his entire wiggling 75 pound body into your lap on a daily basis.
