Dean is a 6 1/2 yr old rat terrier mix. He weighs about twenty pounds. His sister, Girly, is also up for adoption and they would be great together.
Dean is house trained to a pet-door, and loves to go for a ride in the car but can sometimes get car sick. He loves to go for walks and enjoys wandering in the woods with you. He gets along with well with most animals but would not like a household with small children. He likes to sleep in the bed under the covers and also on the couch. Dean would love to be a lap dog and is very affectionate.
A fenced yard is required. Adoption fee, vet reference, and a home check does apply. Dean is neutered, up to date on shots, and heartworm negative. He will be micro-chipped on adoption.
Dean is not a DogsOnly rescue companion, but is part of an independent program sponsored by DogsOnly. As a result he will not be available at the DogsOnly adoption showings at Petco on Chenal Parkway across from Target and Home Depot.
