*adopted**update 1/2/2010..Davey is in a new foster home where they are home with him 24/7. He has become very sociable and loves to have company come to visit. He is learning to walk on a leash and is very sociable with the other foster dogs. **Davey is a 2 year old Min Pin who was rescued from a puppy mill. He is a bit skiddish as he has not had much human contact. This handsome lad is willing to give you a chance at showing him what it's like to be a great companion. You must keep in mind that it will take time, patience, love and dedication to showing him what it's like to live outside of a cage. For most puppy mill dogs it's a slow process, but a very rewarding one once you bring them to their full potential with your time and willingness to work with them. Davey in turn will show you that he can trust you and be a devoted friend and a lifetime companion. Transition time from cage to family has already started with the foster family program at Prairie Paws where these pets live with us like members of the family getting a start on family life. The adoptive family is required to have a secure fence prior to adoption of this pet. Davey is neutered, shots updated, wormed and heartworm tested (negative). A donation of $125 will cover his medical work with an approved adoption
