He’s a shy boy with a sweet disposition. He’s a lap dog, lover boy! Daryl would thrive in an adoptive home with a playful dog. It really helps him to be comfortable and really lets his amazing qualities show. He currently plays with 2 foster brothers that rough house with him and he is so gentle with them. Daryl loves his toys especially chasing his balls, and while he hasn’t mastered fetch, he has however; mastered hide n seek with them. Daryl is very shy at first, but don’t let that deter you with patience and structure he thrives, add in his Good boy treats and bed time bone and you will win his heart over in no time. Daryl is house trained and not a barker. He will willingly go in his crate and is quiet in there, and most of the time he even prefers it with a bone, toys and paw patrol on tv. Daryl’s adoptive home will need a fence higher than four feet as he can get right over! Or, if no fence, a clear understanding that Daryl can be nervous and although he has come a long way he can be stubborn when it comes to the leash and try and back out so it’s best to use a leash and harness until everyone is comfortable.
