Meet Darling, an approximately 1-year-old female German Shepherd mix. Darling was found by one of our Animal Control Officers found out in an old abandoned property. After completing her stray hold with nobody claiming her, Darling is now up for adoption. Darling is a bit skittish when she first meets you, but she does tend to warm up. From what we have seen she is not a fan of men at this point, but we are hoping she will learn to warm up to them. Darling has been spayed, however, it does look like she had recently had a litter of puppies prior to coming into the shelter so she is still drying up from that. We have tested Darling with another dog and she seems to like them, but a meet and greet with any other dogs in the home will be necessary.
