Meet Darla-Jean...
Darla has been sticky sweet since the moment our ACO met her. She is 100% about LOVING people and wanting to be a part of family activities.
When our ACO first met her, she was trying to go to school with all the kids that wwere entering the building. This occurred at the high school. Darla was giving it her best to be a part of the group, but as it turned out, she was expelled quickly and ended up behind bars.
She went to the vet for her spay, vaccines, and heart-worm testing on April 10th and is now ready to begin her new life journey.
Our vet has estimated her to be about one and a half years old. This girl is going to make some family very happy. She has a strong prey drive so a home without small animals would be best. In the beginning it was a constant thing for her to keep jumping up onto our ACO. She's been working hard to correct that, and now though it does still happen at times, it is not a big issue. That being said, we're still going to say that kids over 8+ would work best for her. She has walked with another male bully of her size and has not shown reactivity. That being said - Darla needs to be an only dog as she's too dominate to have a fur sibling.
