My Story

Don’t meet Darcy unless you want to fall in love with a 4-month old ball of white fluff! The fluff will grow up to be a very active, outstandingly gorgeous, intelligent, Australian Shepherd. Darcy is the result of breeding two merle colored aussies. This color breeding often produces a genetic lethal white gene. Often the pups with this gene do not survive or they have various intestinal problems. They are often deaf and blind. This pup has been thoroughly checked out and appears to be healthy, very active, and very quick to learn. She does have one underdeveloped small eye in which she is no doubt blind. Her vision appears to be somewhat compromised at night. Her hearing seems fine, and she has learned to respond to a high frequency whistle for recall. She is extremely easy to train., very attentive and affectionate. Leash trained, sits, but not yet fully housetrained because her foster mom works all day. With someone home during the day she would be very quickly house trained. Darcy needs a committed, AUSSIE-SAAVY OWNER willing to go the extra mile to keep this special needs girl safe. Aussies need to be kept busy, given a job to do and they definitely need to receive training. Are you the right person to give this gorgeous young lady her forever lifetime home?
