Daphne

Meet Daphne! She is a 7 year old black Lab mix who weighs about 75 pounds. Daphne came into our shelter after she was found as a stray with another dog that were running at large. She had severe skin issues that had been left untreated, but had been doing great since starting medical care! Due to her history, Daphne can be shy at times and takes some time warming up to new people. Daphne enjoys going on walks outside, and would make a great walking companion for someone looking to go on short walks outside to enjoy the fresh air. Since she is older she is a perfect energy level and will gladly occupy her own time. Once she knows you she likes to snuggle, but is just as happy napping on her dog bed. Since she is shy at first, if there are kids in her forever home they need to be ages 13 and older. Daphne shows potential to live in a home with another dog, but she would prefer another dog that is as laid back as she is.
