Dante

Dante is a teeny, tiny little chihuahua not even 3 pounds! He is 2 yrs old. He is such a tiny, precious boy- Dante was given to us by a breeder. He is still scared of people, but if you pick him up and hold him he will sit nicely on your lap. He will need a patient owner and one that will let him trust at his own pace. Dante would love to live with another small dog- Dante does not play but loves the company! No small children, please.

Dante is neutered, utd shots, dewormed, heartworm tested and had a dental cleaning. His adoption donation is $200. We require an adoption application, references, adoption contract and home visit. We only adopt to families in SD, MN, NE, ND, IA.

Important things to know before you contact us:

If you are out of state, it does take time to process your application and find a home visitor from another rescue to do your visit. Please be SERIOUS about adopting a dog from our rescue before submitting an application.

The application is the first step. After we receive and approve a completed application, we will schedule a home visit.

Almost Home is run from foster homes. We have no facility for the public to come in and view pets.

We do not ship our dogs.
