Dani is believed to be a female boxer mix approximately 1.5 years of age. She is sweet and affectionate, loves people and attention, playing with chewable toys, and bouncing around in the back yard (even in the heat) chasing imaginary creatures! She is a strong girl weighing around 50 pounds. She needs somebody that is patient and can handle her strength and youthful energy.
She was recently rescued as a stray by Garland Animal Services and has been in her foster home since mid-June. Sadly, she and their other dog were didn’t get along, and had to be separated and kept in separate crates. For that reason, we would recommend she might do best as the only dog in her new home.
She would make a great buddy for either an adult family or a single adult (without an existing dog). Fully up to date on her medical care, just needs her new forever home.
Dani is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by foster, not by DFWRM.
