Dale

Dale is a 1 1/2 years old large boned black Great Dane. It seems like he's been through a lot. When we first got him he was very skinny (40 Lb. under weight) , his ribs & hind bones showing. He was very sick, X-ray showed that he has air around his heart & lungs. He had to be keep kept on IV for 2 Days. Dale was also tested postitive for Heartworms. The vet considered euthanasia, but after few days in the emergency clinic, Dale started feeling better and coming around.

Dale was put on a high cal. diet to gain weight, he was neutered and treated for Heartworms. Since then Dale has made a great progress. He now has a great appetite, he is happy and very playful. It is nice to see this poor boy who was so sick and so near death come out of his shell.
