Dakota - Pending

Sept 27/06 Dakota is our wonderful 9 yrs young lab. He came to us from a very loving and caring family who had fallen on hard times. They were not able to keep care of Dakota's medical needs and had to surrender him. He had some large growths on him that have been successfully removed. Dakota has so much energy and just loves life. If you saw how happy and energetic he was you'd never know he just had surgery. Dakota is fully house broken. Loves kids, cats, and other dogs. He loves to play 24/7 if he could and loves going on walks. Here at the shelter we have kiddy pools that we just cant keep him out of. He always wants to splash around in the water. Dakota would do wonderful in almost any type of home so long as he gets lots of love and attention. He does need regular ear cleanings and baths so he does not get itchy skin. 9 yrs should not discourage anyone. He definately does not act like he is 9. But thats a lab for yah!
