Thank you!** Meet Daisy Sweetpaws - a 9 month old, Lab mix, who weighs 56 pounds (as of 8/6/24). This sweet girl came to us form an extreme hoarding situation. She and her sisters had been kept outside in a wire crate in the cold, with only straw to keep them warm (and a tarp over the crate for shelter). Given her background, it's amazing to see how outgoing this girl is! She's super playful, loving, cuddly, and LOVES to be around people! Her foster shares: "Daisy Sweetpaws is a social butterfly who has lots of love to give! She is amazingly friendly and just wants to jump right in your lap for kisses and hugs. She is currently in foster care with 9 other pups ranging in age and size, and she does great with them all. She goes in her crate while I'm running errands, and sleeps in there at night, and does fine. She is doing really well with her potty training when kept on a schedule, leash training, and basic commands. She can't wait to meet her forever family!" It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
