August, 2007 - Daisy Duke is approximately 12 weeks old and weighs 13 lbs. She is fun & playful. She loves to run and play, and would make a great companion/
9/15/07 Update: Daisy is living the good life down on the farm with her foster brothers and sister, but at 4 months old, she is eagerly awaiting her OWN forever home. She would like to have a big fenced yard, an active person to call her own, maybe a fur brother or sister to keep her company, and lots of toys to play with! Oh yeah, and she'd like a big soft bed (yours or a doggie bed) to curl up in at night.
Daisy is VERY smart and picks up on things quickly. She is quiet and well-mannered in the house, and is housebroken. She walks well on a leash and is learning basic obedience commands. She loves other dogs and gets along well with cats. She rides well in the car, and doesn't mind being crated at mealtime, and for short periods of time.
10/07/07 Update: My foster mom wanted you to see new baby pictures of me - see how I'm growing!! I try real hard to please, and my foster mom says to tell you that I'm very quiet and well-mannered in the house - that seems to be important! I listen well - right now we are working on obedience commands like "sit", "come" and "down". I am also learning to shake hands when asked - Mom thinks it's cute - I just want the treat!!!
