My Story

Daisy is not at shelter right now, but in the home of a volunteer. To meet please email [email protected] or call FAPL. Daisy is a 1 year old mixed breed that is seeking a loving home. She arrived at FAPL very shy, but boy has this gal blossomed !! She’s an absolute love bug now!! Daisy will be your loving, loyal companion! Oh and ps… she thinks she’s a lap dog! Daisy is very good with other dogs, and actually has a few besties at the shelter. Did someone say ice cream? Daisy will be your best friend with an ice cream run! She is very playful and loves her toys! Also good with cats!! Daisy currently weighs 52 pounds. She’s waiting for you today!! Volunteer views: Daisy enjoyed a sleepover at our house and she loved it!! She rode so very well in the car on the way! Daisy was thrilled with the vast toy assortment and especially loves Kong type chew toys. Ummm she also found every cat toy left by the last batch of foster kittens!! Daisy slept soundly- not a peep! She is still puppy like, and needs guidance in learning not to jump, so older children would be best. She’s a very cuddly gal and quickly becomes attached to humans!! Her favorite spot is by your side!! *If you visit the shelter and don’t see the particular animal you are looking for, please ask at the front desk. No appointment is necessary to adopt. Our business hours are 11am - 4:30pm, Tuesday through Sunday. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will not be accepted in advance. If you have dogs and/or kids in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.
