Daisy ADOPTED

Daisy is a super sweet, 4 year old Foxhound. Poor Daisy was an unclaimed stray at the county shelter and ended up catching kennel cough – a death sentence. She was scheduled to be euthanized the day we stepped in to rescue her. Since she has been in foster care and is feeling better, her true, wonderful disposition is starting to shine through! Daisy is a very nice girl and was obviously at one time someone’s cherished pet. She is housetrained, knows basic commands, doesn’t jump on you and gets along wonderful with everyone she meets (human & canine). Daisy is a true pack dog and loves to be around other dogs – even going so far as to snuggle with them at nighttime. She would LOVE to share her home with another doggie friend or two! Daisy is also great around children..... just as Foxhounds are known for. We don’t know though how she is around cats. Daisy has lots of hound energy and loves to check out what is going on inside and outside, yet also loves to chill out on the doggie bed while you watch TV. She also has a classic signature hound “Bay” that she sounds off on occasion. Don’t let that scare you though, as she rarely uses it and it has never seemed to be at inappropriate times or in excess. It actually truly adds to her whole personality! Daisy is really a happy-go-lucky loving girl who is now looking for a home to call her own.
