My Story

Female, 1.5 years old, 58 lbs. Personality: affectionate, goofy/funny, snuggler, energetic, timid, and playful. Who needs a whole garden when you've got a Daisy to brighten your day? Her endearing penchant for following you around like a faithful sidekick is sure to bring a smile to your face. Despite her initial shyness, Daisy is a charmer who will steal your heart with her playful antics and irresistible cuddles. Daisy's unique blend of timidity and affection makes her a one-of-a-kind addition to your household. While she can be a little scared on walks in the big city, she is very outgoing and friendly when she feels safe, such as in her foster home, at the park, or during daycare. Daisy loves to follow her people from room to room, always seeking pets and attention. With a boundless energy level that matches her spirited personality, she is a perfect match for an active adopter or a home where she has other dogs to romp with. Daisy hasn't had any recent accidents and loves her crate, which is like her own little room. Daisy knows the words "sit, and "lay down, and is working on the word "stay. She absolutely loves car rides - especially if they take her to new adventures. She plays well with the resident dog in her foster home and is still gaining confidence when meeting new humans. If you're looking for a quirky canine companion to add a touch of whimsy to your life, look no further than Daisy! Whether she's charming you with her antics or snuggling up beside you for a cozy night in, Daisy is sure to leave a lasting paw print on your heart. Apply today to meet her and experience the joy of having Daisy brighten your every day! If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. If the animal has "HAS APPLICATION" listed, they are still available to receive additional applications but also may be in the process of being adopted soon. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
