My Story

Daisy is a very petite female Great Pyrenees who came to us after being a “farm dog” in North Dakota. Daisy currently weighs about 63 pounds. She is thought to be 3-4 years old, but acts like a puppy at times. She really wants to play with her foster brothers. She is mostly white with a bit of reddish tan on her ears. Daisy has very soft wavy fur, so she may be mixed with Kuvasz, another of the white guarding dogs from Europe. Daisy knows how to “shake” and has learned to “sit” if the proper treat is waved in front of her. She is house trained; has had no accidents in the house at all. Daisy was not too fond of being crated, but really does not need to be. She has not shown any destructive behavior. She is very affectionate and loves to sit quietly and be petted. Daisy’s previous owner states she got along with cats, but she currently isn’t living with any cats. She is a fairly gentle, laid back Pyr and would likely do well in a family. Daisy is spayed, up to date on all her shots, microchipped and heart worm negative. An adoption application, home visit, adoption fee, and secure visible fencing are required to adopt Daisy.
