Daisy

This is a face to die for...look at those eyes! Not to mention those velvety ears! Our Daisy Dukes is a redbone coonhound and is just beautiful, from her gorgeous colored coat to her incredibly sweet nature. Daisy is going to make some home a complete family...abounding in love. This is a great dog to come home to. She is about 45 lbs now; after having gained a little weight is looking great. Daisy is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly, and then she is a devoted lovebug. She gets along great with other dogs, loves all people and kids. She is very well mannered and walks well on a leash (a little slinky now because she is very submissive and is unsure of herself). Daisy is a very special dog. Her ideal home would be as an integral member of the family and have her own fenced in yard...and tons of loving! As of this writing (3/23/09) she has not entered our foster program as she has just been vetted. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, including rabies, wormed, deflead, tested negative for heartworm and is on heartworm preventative now. As soon as a foster home opens for her she will begin her home training...unless you would like to do that! :-) If you are interested in meeting Lucy, please fill out our adoption application, this does NOT obligate you to adopt, it just gives us information to help ensure a good match up. Nor is a visit an obligation to adopt. Please keep in mind that our policy is that we always take our animals back should it prove not to be a perfect match or if you find that you can no longer care for the animal.
