My Story

Casey Kasem says, "Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars." Now, that’s not even funny to tell a Bassett Hound. Howdy you animal loving people. I’m Daisy, a female Bassett Hound born @ 2/04 and weighing @ 40 lbs. I am up to date on shots, spayed and tested positive for heartworms. I know, that is so sad, I’m homeless, have worms in my heart and I can’t reach the stars. Oh, well, I’m too darn beautiful to let that get me down during the holidays. If you can’t wait for a foster home to open up to put me through heartworm treatment, you can apply to adopt me now and the CAAWS people will pick up the tab. I am a very sweet, huggable young lady who gets along well with other dogs and wants to join a family that has a lot of love to give. I’m also a very musical gal, so if you aren’t into tunes, we might not get along. On the other hand, if you think you can hold a note, c’mon down and see me. I promise to be the best companion you’ve ever dreamed of owning and sing you to sleep every night.
