Daisey

Daisey is an older gal, about 8-10 years old, looking for a retirement home. She would like a quieter home where she can spend my days napping and catching up on some much-needed rest. Her absolute favorite thing to do is relax on a cot bed for a good long nap, though she is not opposed to a good couch! Though she's a little older and a little smaller, she is a true hound who will follow her nose all over your house, so keep the treats locked up tight! Daisey is comfortable around most dogs, though not usually very interested in them. She is not overly affectionate, but she will tell you when its time for the pets or belly rubs! She is a sweet old lady who doesn't ask for much other than some good food and treats. Daisey has lived a pretty rough life, and has the medical record to show for it. She is positive for Ehrlichia, though she is not currently exhibiting any symptoms. She has also completed treatment for heartworm disease, but has not yet reached the time for recommended retest. Daisey does require daily medication for thyroid and liver issues, and has had several mammary masses removed. We cannot be sure how much longer this sweet girl will be around, but you really wouldn't know it - she will fill your days with laughter and she can be two whole handfuls when she wants to!
