Cy

The name is Cy (pronounced "Sigh"). I am a male purebred Italian Greyhound born September 24, 2005. I am current on shots, have been neutered and am on monthly heartworm preventative. I came to CAAWS because my former owners did not have enough time for me and realized that a puppy needs a little more than they could give at the moment. True to the description of Italian Greyhounds, I am timid and submissive yet high strung and extremely fast. I've heard that I am one of the easiest dogs to groom. I shed little to no hair and can get by being rubbed down with a wet cloth. My foster mom says that I will have to go to a home with NO small children or LARGE dogs since I am so fragile and fine-boned. I currently weigh 9 lbs and should be 10 or 11 when full grown. I've reached my height limit, just working on filling in the gaps. I have all of the typical puppy traits (chewing, working on my housetraining, being a live-wire, love to be held and LOVE to be hugged and I will constantly lean up against you until you hug me.) I've heard that a faithful friend is the medicine of life. What's say you and I live a healthy, happy rest of our lives together proving this true.
