Cush has found his forever home with Leslie and Alan H. in Andover, MA
UPDATE 11/25: Cush is being fostered at the Cape Cod Pet Resort in Falmouth, MA This is a super sweet dog!! So friendly and happy!
Cush is a 10 month old, 50 lb lab mix who would love an active home to call his own. He is still very puppy-ish so will need a home where he gets plenty of exercise and will need someone willing to provide some obedience training. Cush was found as a stray in the south by a kind disabled woman who couldn't care for him. He absolutely loves people. Cush is fine with most dogs, but can't be trusted around small dogs. He seems to think they are toys or prey. Here is what Cush's southern foster mom had to say about him "Very active, strong and playful young dog with a lot of energy. Loves people, rides well in the car. Just wants attention and love." Adoption fee $300.
Please complete an
online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
