My Story

APRIL 24, 2009

Our volunteers ran Cue on April 4:
Red/brown. No dew claws. Shorter coat. Cue has a tag saying that he ran the Tustamena 200!!! He is a lean boy that came in with Wes and Molly (we couldn't run Molly because she is so terribly shy we couldn't get her out of her house...very sad). He might be a dog that benefits from thyroid medication. He has bad feet and a lot of fur missing from his chest from harness rub and frostbite. He is a tad on the timid side but very approachable. He self loaded into my truck and knew exactly what to do. He is a nice running dog with good drive. He did tend to play with the dog next to him (Jenny) and that got a bit distracting and Jenny certainly didn't like it....so he needs a few instructions on keeping his mind on his work. This could all be thyroid related too if he just isn't feeling 100%. He is around 2.5 years old. He needs some good nutrition also but could be a mid distance fast dog if treated properly.
