Cubby has the cutest face! He was a stray after his owners were evicted and left him tied out when they left. He chewed through the twine and was wandering, very confused. He was very depressed with us for awhile, but he is perking up. We guess he is about 3-4 years old, overweight at 69#, and don't know what his mix is other than black Lab.
Cubby appears to be housebroken and he is fine being crated, so acclimating to a new home should be pretty easy.
He know some basic commands, such as SIT, DOWN and COME and he attends training classes to learn more. He walks very well on a leash without any special collar. He enjoys his time outside and his time with people.
He is fine with other dogs, cats and children. He is just very easy-going and just wants to be a part of your life.
Who will help Cubby forget the past and love him forever?
This dog's adoption fee is $200 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if we feel it is needed), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
