ADOPTED! - Hi! My name is Crocker, and I dream each night that a loving family will adopt me and take me home. I've been in temporary foster care since last summer, and I am sooooo wanting a home of my own. At 30 lbs., I'm the perfect size dog--not too big, not too small...just right! I am about 2 years old, and I love to play with other dogs (and have attended doggie day care many times, so I know my doggie manners). I like kitties too! When play time is over, though, I just love to snuggle with my "person". I have the sweetest face (I can even "smile"!) and I have big brown eyes. I don't bark unless I see something outside that I think you should know about. I'm such a sweet dog, so....won't you please think it over? I'll be your best friend for years to come! Oh, by the way......Because I'm a high energy kind of guy, I need a fenced yard to run around in--and a doggie "brother" or "sister" to play with me during the day. I also don't want to be a latchkey dog, so an adopter who works out of their home, is retired, or just works part time would be perfect for me. I've been neutered, microchipped, immunized, and wormed. I'm on heartworm preventative and I'm even housetrained! I would make somebody a great jogging partner, and would love to take some agility classes. (My foster mom says I'm VERY smart, and I love attention and praise.) In a nutshell, I need a "mom" or "dad" who will include me in on their daily activities, rather than expecting me to be a couch potato all day long while they're at work.
