My Story

This is one of the dearest dogs ever! At about 9 to 10 months old, this 51 pound sensitively sweet boy was seen by the side of a busy highway, confused, scared, and desperately looking for his person—but he looked in vain, because the person he trusted more than anyone else in his world had apparently pushed him out of the car and drove away, leaving him with a bruised shoulder. As he limped along, trying to run up to passing cars, a woman saw his predicament and stopped her car, and he bounded into it, his desperate attempt to reach some security from all he could not understand. Gerdy was called and took Cowboy under her wing, promising him a new family who would never do that to him but would love him all his life. Cowboy is a black and white mix, maybe with a bit of Border Collie/Lab but the rest is anyone’s guess—he is a Designer original with the most expressive face!  Now neutered, shots, heartworm tested negative, no fleas or worms, on Revolution for heartworm prevention as are all Gerdy’s dogs, Cowboy is ready to ride happily into the sunset with you.
