Cooper has found his forever home with Derek S. in Sweet Valley, PA
UPDATE 7/17: Cooper, AKA Kimbo was returned because he and the resident dog in the house were not a good match together. He is a good boy in the house, has nice house manners and is fine with other dogs. He loves to play so if he were to be an 'only' dog, he'd need to live with an active family who would exercise him. He is being fostered in No. Falmouth, MA at Cape Cod Pet Resort. He plays well with other dogs in the playgroup there.
Kimbo is quite the fluffy handsome boy! He is 2yrs old and weighs 47 lbs. He appears to be a border collie and golden mix, or perhaps a lab mix. Whatever his heritage, he is a gem of a dog! He has a medium energy level and would thrive in an active home. He is fine with cats. He is crate trained and housetrained. Here is what his southern foster mom said about him " He is a wonderful dog- He absolutely LOVES the water! He walks great on a leash and rides pretty well." He would be a great companion for a person or people who like to run, or a family with older children who could give him lots of exercise. This great dog deserves his forever home. Will it be yours? Adoption fee $350

online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
