Comet

Comet is an adorable puppy, calm and a real sweetheart. He is thought to be a Black Lab Mix. His estimated date of birth is May 18th, 2023. At 5 months, Comet weighs 26lbs; his adult weight is not known. It is most important to note that we do not know just how big Comet will become as an adult…his new family must be willing to accept him, no matter what his adult size! Comet is very smart, a quick learner, very alert and playful, but overall pretty calm for a young boy!! This cute pup joined BAARK from an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky earlier this year. When joining our rescue program, Comet appeared happy, calm & gentle, very friendly, and eager to move on to a better life!! He’s now ready to move along to a forever home of his own! Comet is very sociable, playful, and is great with dogs. Most likely, a young or middle-aged adult dog would prefer his company more so than a senior dog. An ideal family for Comet is one able to assimilate the enthusiasm and playfulness of a puppy into their lifestyle and is willing to commit the time to working with and training Comet to be his best self! A secure fenced yard is ideal as is another younger or middle-aged pup in the family. Comet is crate-trained and is working on good house manners (housebreaking). He is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. His neuter is included in his adoption fee.
