Update 0210/2008: Cocoa has been adopted!!! Congratulations Paula and Cocoa!!!

This is Cocoa - only about 9-10 mos old still very much a puppy but very big and still growing. We still aren't sure of her breed- maybe Lab and Australian Shep but could be Catahoula and Australina Shepherd or Lab we really don't know. Maybe a mix of all three with the best qualities from ech!!!!
She is a wonderful dog! One of those girls that will just sit by you patiently. She was an owner surrender with her friend Toby. At the shelter we work with owner release dogs are put on the euth list for the next morning however the shelter workers must have seen something special in this pair because they did give them some extra time and called me to see if I could take them. The two were inseperable! Even crying for each other when they went in for their sterilizations!

However, most people are looking for only 1 dog at a time and so we knew we had to seperate them- Toby went to a wonderful new home and Cocoa has learned to get along with the rest of the pack to wait for her new home. She is a great dog and extremely gently with children and adults alike! She will make a fantastic addition to any home. She gets along with cats dogs and horses (still needs to learn to stop trying to herd them though!) is housebroken and very well behaved indoors, and just an all around great young dog!!!

We accept donations such as: food, treats, bedding, collars, leashes, clothing (for the pets), crates and pens, rawhides, biscuits, bleach, cleaning supplies, fencing supplies, etc. If it can be used by our precious animals waiting for their forever homes we would love to accept it.
