My Story

NEW INFO from foster mom: Coco will have to be adopted to someone in a house rather than an apartment or condo as he does have a tendency to bark when left alone. I am working on this and he's getting better, but initially he does bark when alone and I would be nervous to have him in an apt or condo where neighbours might complain. He is blossoming into a wonderful companion and will make some lucky person a faithful friend. Here is a nice dog - he's shy and a bit timid at first, but he really opens up quickly. He did belong to a woman with mental health issues and because sometimes she was nice, but other times volatile, Coco really doesn't know what to expect. In foster care, he's just blossoming and does get very attached to main caregiver, but also can widen the scope given time. He's not tried to bite or snap but will hide or look for his person when he's intimidated or feels nervous. He's snuggly, loyal, house trained, good in the car, great with other dogs, loves belly rubs and will make a fine friend. Be patient with him, he just needs time to realize that no one is going to get mad with him anymore. If you are interested in this nice boy, contact Speaking of Dogs Rescue
